Shipping and Delivery

All items are shipped using Royal Mail. Any delivery times quoted are estimated, and are subject to Royal Mail terms and conditions.

In the UK items up to 1.25kg will be shipped by First Class mail, items over this weight will be sent via standard parcels.

Overseas orders will usually be shipped by Airmail, unless surface mail is specifically requested at the time of order

Insurance is not included in any shipping charges.

The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Preservation Society Ltd is registered for VAT. For each order, we will quote a cost for packing and delivery of your order. Whilst items ordered may be subject to zero-rated VAT, the charge for packing/delivery is subject to VAT at the standard rate. We will show the VAT element of the packing/delivery charge on your invoice. In many cases the VAT shown on your order will be solely from the packing/delivery charge unless you order videos/DVDs which have VAT applied at the standard rate.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

If you wish to cancel your order:

• you can notify us by email to sales@rerps.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you, or
• where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with the clause below.

You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.

The rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances: -

In the event that the product has been used in the case of software, audio or visual products, or where the packaging has been unsealed. Returns are also not accepted for any products that we have made or customised specifically for you.

The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
