This is a "Special Edition" and is the cab ride filmed from River Mite with Driver Ron Clarke. We follow Ron as he prepares the loco for a day's work and then takes a train full of passengers up the valley and back with guard John Larke. Our camera records all the up journey and highlights the return trip including some footage of River Esk and the crossing with River Esk at Miteside. The filming was done in June 1996 at the same time as the other Graham J R Whistler video "Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Experience" and is intended as a companion to the main video, for people who have requested the full cab ride.

As we ride with driver Ron Clarke up the valley enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery and see him at work. There is no formal script but Ron talks us up the line and points out things of interest and explains what he is doing.
